8. Spiked Feet
9. Integrated Monopod
Two styles of spiked feet are used
for this series of tripods. In each
case, the rubber non-skid feet are
for use indoors or on flat surfaces,
while the spikes are for soft
ground, grass, sand, and uneven
terrain.
A. rEtrActABLE SPIKEd FEEt
A spike is built into each of the
tripod’s rubber feet. To change
from a rubber foot to a spiked
foot, rotate the rubber pad at
the bottom of the foot clockwise
until the spike is fully exposed.
Turn the foot counterclockwise
to fully retract the spike into the
rubber foot.
B. IntEgrAtEd SPIKEd FEEt
A removable rubber cap with
a spike beneath it is built into
each tripod leg. To change from
a rubber foot to a spiked foot,
simply pull the rubber cap off
the foot, exposing the spike
beneath. When a rubber foot is
desired, replace the rubber cap
over the spike.
One of the legs on the tripod
can be removed and used as
a monopod. Rotate the twist
lock counterclockwise (a) until
the leg comes loose. Mount the
center column (b) from the tripod
onto the monopod by rotating it
clockwise.
