Installing/ Replacing The Batteries

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Insert four "AA" batteries and ensure correct polarity (as marked inside the battery compartment).

• If the battery low symbol (       ) appears on the display, turn off the monitor, then replace all batteries at the 
   same time.
• The measurements continue to be stored in memory even after the batteries are replaced.

Using The Optional Ac Adapter

1. Insert the AC adapter plug into the AC adapter jack on the rear side of the main unit.
2. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.
3. To disconnect the AC adapter, unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet first and then remove the AC adapter 
    plug from the main unit.

Touch Screen Switch

The innovative touch screen display functionality can be activated or disabled easily at anytime 
with ON/OFF touch screen activation switch. Please keep the touch switch in "ON" position to 
operate the monitor.

1. Ensure the Touch Screen Switch in "ON" Position.
2. Date/Time Setting

• With the unit switched off, simultaneously press the 

MEM

 button and 

START 

button for 3 seconds. The entry to the 

   month flashes.
• Press the 

MEM 

button repeatedly until the desired number for the month appears.

• Press the 

START 

button to accept the setting. Now the entry to the day flashes.

• Proceed in exactly the same manner when entering the day, hour and minute.
• In each case, press the 

MEM 

button to select and the 

START 

button to accept the entry.

PREPARATION

3. Voice Language Setting

• With the unit switched off, select the desired voice language by pressing and holding the 

MEM 

button.

• Now the screen will cycle through "L0", "L1", "L2" and "L3". 

Once you change the batteries, the date
 and time must be set again. The time is 
expressed in 24-hour military time.

L0 = Voice Function is off
L1 = English
L2 = German
L3 = Spanish 
» The monitor will say the corresponding language 
   with the displayed language code.

• Once the desired language has been heard, release the 

MEM 

button.

• After the desired language has been selected, a bar will appear on the 

side of the screen. You can adjust the volume by pressing and holding 
the 

MEM 

button again.

• Once the volume reaches the desired level, release the 

MEM 

button.

• The unit will automatically turn off after the desired volume level has 

been set.
