To synchronise with a PC using Windows XP

Install Microsoft ActiveSync® 4.5 on your PC from the Getting Started CD.

Connect your Xda Guide to your PC using the USB cable and the Synchronisation Setup 
Wizard will start automatically. Click 

Next

.

Untick the 

Synchronise directly with a server running Microsoft Exchange

 check 

box and click 

Next

.

Select the information you want to synchronise and click 

Next

.

Choose whether to allow wireless data connections to your Xda Guide while it’s 
connected to your PC and click 

Next

.

Click 

Finish

.

To synchronise with a PC using Windows Vista

Connect your Xda Guide to your PC using the USB cable and Windows Mobile® Device 
Center will open automatically. Click 

Set up your device

.

Select the information you want to synchronise and click 

Next

.

Enter the name for your Xda Guide and click 

Set Up

.
