3.22 BIOS FLASHBACK
With a USB flash drive and the latest BIOS, you
can update the BIOS without a CPU and you do
not need to power on the system. To use the BIOS
Flashback feature, perform the steps below.
• Download the latest BIOS file from NZXT's website: http://www.nzxt.com.
• Extract the BIOS file from the zip file to a secure location and rename the BIOS file "creative.rom".
• Prepare a USB flash drive and format it in FAT32 and copy "creative.rom" to the root directory on the flash drive.
• Plug in the 24-pin power connector to the motherboard and turn on the power supply's AC switch. Do not power on the system.
• Plug the USB flash drive into the USB connector labeled with "BIOS" on the rear IO panel.
• Press the BIOS Flashback Switch for about 3 seconds to begin the process. The button will flash to indicate the process has been started.
• Please wait until the LED stops blinking and has turned off, indicating the BIOS flashing process has been completed.
• A separate PC system is needed to prepare the USB flash drive.
• If the LED turns solid green, this means the BIOS Flashback is not
operating properly. Plug the USB drive to the USB BIOS Flashback
port.
