Using the application
Start-up
When the application is installed, appropriate short-
cuts are created on the user’s desktop and in the Start menu. The applicatio
n
should be started using either of those.
The PC software is intended to be used as an interface to the cleaver when parameters need to be changed and also to inform the
operator about the progress of the cleaving. The PC is connected to the cleaver via a serial interface (RS-232).

When the application has loaded, the user must
first select the proper COM port from the “

-down list.
