The decoding for this type of interfaces is the combination of two sliders. The horizontal one created by sliding a finger through the
different columns, and the vertical slider created when a finger slides through the rows. In the same manner, a touch and release
condition in a certain region of the touchpad is detected by the combination of one row and one column touched at a time.
