Understanding the Sync and Connection Status Indicators
The
Sync and connection status
group box displays the status of the sync signals as well
as the status of the BNC connection. See
Figure 2.5
Sync Status Indicators
•
House Sync
- Green indicates that a signal is present at the BNC connector.
•
Sync Ready
- Green indicates that a sync pulse is present.
•
Timing
- Indicates whether the timing is locked to the sync signal.
•
Green: The timing is locked to the house sync.
•
Grey: The timing is locked to the internal V-Sync.
•
Red: The display is not synchronized to the timing signal.
•
Stereo Sync
- Always green indicates that it is in sync with a timing signal.
Note:
The Quadro FX 3000G card typically takes a couple of seconds to achieve stereo
sync. The Quadro G-Sync card, because it provides more accurate
synchronization, typically requires about 30 seconds to achieve stereo sync.
