Normal Use _______________________________________________________
• The Defender 500 used for the suction of air for the movement of
liquids� Should be run at a max pressure of 21�8 PSI and a max
vacuum rate of 92%�
• As cooling is given by atmospheric air through the ballast system
pumps used to pressurize are for non-continuous duty�
• Overheating the pump will cause serious damage to the pump and/
or rotor seizure�
• In order to maximize efficiency of the ballast air cooling system, the
filters must be kept clean.
