An inline breaker provides the ability to turn off input power for the Stack Switchgear. Ensure the
breaker is in the
OFF
position.

Verify system is de-energized
Using a multimeter check the Battery Stack and the DC Bus terminals respectively to verify that
the system is de-energized. Be aware that battery itself cannot be de-energized and in some
situations, it may not be possible to de-energize the DC bus.

The Stack Switchgear must be bonded to the rack or Earth through a suitably sized conductor by NEC
standards. From NFPA 70, Table 250.122, the wire size must be chosen based on the rating of the
automatic over-current device in the circuit, as shown in
