5.3. Stack Network Configuration
Overview of steps:
1.
Determine the valid IP Address range for Stack Switchgear units
2.
Update Network Settings for Stack Switchgear units
5.3.1. Determine the valid IP Address range
Please refer to the
Nuvation Energy Stack Switchgear: Product Manual
to setup and provision the
individual Stack Switchgear units. Once each stack is set up and configured you can change the
network configuration for the individual Stack Switchgear to communicate with Battery Control Panel.
All Stack Switchgear units connect to Battery Control Panel via the
Local Ethernet
ports.
The IP address for each Stack Switchgear must be consistent with the internal network configuration.
The details of this internal network configuration are available in the Platform Interface Networks
page under the 'Bridge' card. See
for details on how to access this information.
For example, if the
ip_address
of the internal network was set to
192.168.4.10
and the
netmask
was set
to
255.255.255.0
, then the valid IP address range for Stack Switchgear units would be
192.168.4.x
where
x
cannot be
0
,
10
or
255
.
