meter will display “ok” and shut off.
Performing a control solution test:
1)
Insert a new strip into the meter and confirm that the number on
the screen matches the code on the vial/pouch of foil wrapped
strips. After roughly 3 seconds the number will go away and you
will be at the “home screen”
2)
Press the button 3 times to perform a low solution test. qCL will
display on the screen.
3)
Press the button 4 times to perform a high solution test. qCH will
display on the screen.
4)
Drop solution directly on the strip and make sure the reading is
within the stated range on the vial/pouch of foil wrapped strips
The Check Strip
The check strip can be used to ensure that the meter is working
properly and to delete all saved readings.
