Caution!
• To achieve optimum results, express only
enough milk into the container so that it
does not come into contact with the
bottom edge of lip valve

• When freezing breast milk, do not fill the
container with more than 150 ml (5 fl oz),
as breast milk expands as it freezes and
the container could burst.
3. After expressing, stand the breast pump
upright. The pump must not be allowed
to topple over, otherwise milk might
escape.
4. Unscrew the breast shield 2 from the
breast milk container 10 .
5. Firmly seal the breast milk container 10
using the supplied screw ring 13 and
sealing disc 11 .
6. Immediately after expressing, wash the
individual parts (see “6. Cleaning and
sterilising” on page 16).

If the breast milk you have
collected is not for immediate
use, firmly seal the filled
breast milk container
10 with the sealing
disc 11 and screw ring 13 and store it in
your refrigerator or freeze it (see “9. Storing
milk” on page 18).
9. Storing milk
9.1 NUK Breast Milk
Container
If the breast milk is not for immediate use,
you must seal the filled breast milk container
firmly and store it in the refrigerator or freeze
it.
Warning! Do not place the entire NUK
JOLIE Manual Breast Pump in the
refrigerator, just the breast milk container

with screw ring 13 and sealing disc 11 .
Breast milk may be chilled, frozen and
defrosted in the breast milk container. The
container may also be used for warming and
feeding. It is important that you follow the
instructions about handling breast milk
which is provided below.
Note:
When freezing breast milk, do not fill
