Will the module run the battery down?
The module when in standby mode uses a minimal
amount of current which wouldn’t be sufficient to run
the battery down in a period of time any shorter than 6
months, however it is recommended to disable the
tipping mechanism via the kill switch when the trailer is
not in use, or when in transport.
Does the module require any maintenance?
No the module does not require the user to do anything
for the life span of the product.
Which phones can use the Bluetooth tipping
module?
Both android and IOS phones are supported.
IOS devices with IOS 10+ are supported, and android
devices with android lollipop 5.0+ are supported.
Can the Bluetooth module be used when my
phone is connected to the car via Bluetooth?
We have tested this with several devices and the
Bluetooth tipper module can be used while the phone is
still connected to the car via Bluetooth.
