SETUP INSTRUCTIONS FOR CALDO
Read and Understand the entire Nu-Flame Manual prior to use.
Make certain to inspect the package thoroughly. Carefully remove and unwrap your Nu-Flame
fireplace.
Your fireplace will have the following components:
1.
Glass cylinder
2.
Base
3.
Burner Cup
4.
Snuffer Tool (2 pieces)
Attach the snuffer handle to the snuffer disk using the
small screw and nut. Make certain it is secure and tight.
The burner cup is filled with a high heat ceramic fiber
that acts as a sponge holding the fuel. Do not remove
the perforated cap or ceramic fiber inside.
Place the base on a flat, stable surface, place the burner
cup inside the base making certain it is well seated in
the base and sitting level. Place the cylinder on the base.
To fill the cup with fuel, carefully remove the cylinder.
Use only a recommended Ventless Fireplace Fuel like “Nu-Flame Bio-Ethanol Fuel”. Pour fuel into
the burner cup; do not fill above the perforated cap. DO NOT OVERFILL. Wipe up any spilled fuel.
Use a long match or extended lighter to ignite the fuel.
Once lit, place the cylinder onto the base and enjoy.
Use the provided snuffer tool to extinguish the flame.
CAUTION: The flame starts out slowly. Please allow 15 minutes to reach the optimum
temperature and flame height. DO NOT ASSUME THE FUEL DID NOT IGNITE. Follow the refilling
instructions in this manual.
