Operation
1.
Position your fan on a dry, level surface & plug into an electrical socket.
2.
Select 1=Low; 2=Med or 3=Hi on the rotary speed control switch (“B” above
not visible – located on the back of the fan). Select 0 to turn OFF the fan.
3.
Airflow direction can be adjusted upwards or downwards by simply tilting
the fan head to the desired angle. Up to 120º rotation.
Cleaning & Care

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
♦
Do not use any chemical-based solutions for cleaning metal surfaces.
♦
Slightly moisten a cloth and then wipe the surfaces of the fan.
♦
In order to remove the dust from the protective fan grille use a vacuum
cleaner or undo the securing 8pc screws on grille edge and wipe fan blades
with a damp cloth.
♦
Ensure fan is completely dry and the fan grille securely refitted before
storage or reconnecting to electrical supply.
♦
Never immerse the fan or fan motor in water or other liquid.
♦
If the fan is not used for long periods, protect with a suitable cover after
cleaning, then store in a dry place.
♦
The motor bearings are permanently sealed and do not require additional
lubrication.

compatibility directives. Its construction complies with current safety standards.

BS plug wiring
1.
Wiring instructions: Should it be necessary to change the plug please note
the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following
code:
BLUE – NEUTRAL * BROWN – LIVE * GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH

As the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this appliance may not
correspond
with
the
coloured
markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:

The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must
be connected to the terminal that is
marked with the letter N or coloured
BLACK.
4.
The BROWN wire is the LIVE and must
be connected to the terminal that is
marked with the letter L or coloured
RED.
5.
The GREEN/YELLOW is the EARTH and
must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with or the letter
E or coloured GREEN OR GREEN/YELLOW.
6.
Always ensure that the cord grip is positioned and fastened correctly.
If a 13A (BS 1363 fused plug is used it must be fitted with a 5A fuse. If in doubt
consult a qualified electrician.
