4 STORAGE
The monocular should be kept clean and protected against shock
and moisture. Do not touch the optical surfaces with your fingers
to avoid oil spots. Wipe contaminated lens surfaces with a clean
cotton cloth. Remove oil spots with a cotton rag moistened in
alcohol or ether.
Store the monocular inside with relative humidity not over 80%
and air temperature from +40 to -40 °C. Impacts and strong
vibrations can be harmful to the UM8-2. Avoid external damage
to the body and optics. Reactive chemicals and moisture can
damage the UM8-2.
