6. RESTORING FACTORY DEFAULTS

6401 IP cameras allow to restore defaults via:
•
software (via web browser )
•
software (via NMS IPTool)
•
hardware (using reset button
(RST)

6.1. Restoring software factory defaults via web browser
User can restore default settings of the IP camera except network settings (optional). To restore to
default settings go to:
“
Advanced Config
-
> Config Backup & Restore
”
tab. Process of restoring takes
about two minutes.
6.2. Restoring software factory defaults via NMS IPTool
NMS IPTool (version 1.23.4 or later) allows to restore factory defaults. To restore settings find camera
via NMS IPTool, click right mouse button and choose
“
Restore default configuration
”.
Next, within 10
seconds, it is required to turn the camera power off and on.
