4.4 Camera’s main menu
After sending
ENTER
command camera’s main menu
is displayed as on the screen below:
4.4.1
AE
submenu
This submenu contains exposure settings.
BRIGHTNESS
-
sets brightness level in the range from 1 to 20.
EXPOSURE MODE
-
Selection of the mode of operation of the automatic exposure. Available
options:
GLOBE
- auto exposure determines the exposure parameters by analyzing the entire field
of view of the camera
CENTER
- auto exposure determines the exposure parameters by analyzing the center of
field of view of the camera
BLC
- bright background compensation feature to emphasize details of an object in the
foreground in the shade, with a strongly illuminated background.
FLC
- bright foreground compensation feature to emphasize details of the background in
the shade, with a strongly illuminated foreground.
GAIN
-
increases video signal gain. This option can improve the readability of dark parts of an
image, at the expense of more noise.
4.4.2
WB
submenu
This feature allows to set appropriate color settings using following options:
ATW
- auto tracking white balance based on color temperature.
MWB
- manual mode settings. In case of inappropriate color settings for
ATW
,
mode it is
possible to set
RED
and
BLUE
values manually. Color values range from 0 to 16. Any change in
the color components are instantly applied to the image.
Camera menu operation is available for Novus AHD recorders with the
COAX
control option
implemented
