Principle of operation
APSF = Automatic Product Speed Following.

The automatic dispensing speed adjustment makes it possible to automatically adapt
the dispensing speed to the speed of the conveyor belt.
The conveyor belt and the label feed operate in perfect synchronisation thanks to the
automatic speed adjustment. If the conveyor belt stops while a label is being dis-
pensed, the label feed will also stop. If the conveyor belt starts up, the label feed will
be activated automatically.
The speed of the conveyor belt is picked up by a rotary encoder [29A] and transmitted
to the control system of the labeller. The rotary encoder is not included in the scope of
delivery of the labeller.
