FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, water should be boiled in it twice without any
additives.
OPERATION
1. Place the kettle on a flat surface.
2. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill! Check the water level indicator.
3. Place the kettle on the base.
4. Electrical connection
Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of
the appliance. Details are to be found on the label on the base.
Only connect the appliance to a properly installed 220-240V~ 50/60Hz safety
socket.
5. Switch the appliance to position 1 . The control lamp on the water level indicator shows
that the water is being boiled.
6. After boiling the appliance switches off automatically.
Disconnect the being from the mains electricity supply.
Do not press up the lid when pouring
CLEANING
Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the appliance!
The exterior of the appliance should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp
cloth without additives.
The calcium filter can be removed for cleaning.
