Install the Battery
1.
Press your finger against the battery removal
tab, then lift and remove the cover.
2.
Align the gold-colored contacts on the battery
with the gold-colored contacts on the MiFi 500
and gently slide the battery into place.
3.
Replace the cover by setting it on the MiFi 500
where the notches align, then press on the
cover until it clicks into place and is flat across
the entire bottom surface.
Charge the Battery
1.
Plug the micro-USB cable into the device.
2.
Plug the other end of the cable into the
AC adapter and plug the adapter into an
electrical outlet.
3.
Charge until the battery charge indicator shows
the battery is fully charged (
).
Get Ready
1.
Make sure you are in an area covered by
the Sprint 3G or 4G network (not roaming).
2.
Make sure the device you are trying to connect
to your MiFi 500 has its Wi-Fi (wireless network
connection) mode turned on.
3.
Make sure your MiFi 500 is set up on your
Sprint account. (Sign on to your account
at sprint.com to verify.)
