The VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) device illuminates the scan field for
the through-the-lens vision camera. It is bundled with this camera and thus only present
in your scan head if the camera is present too.

1. If your scan head does not have a through-the-lens vision camera then skip this
procedure and proceed with the next one.
2. In the InScript software in the
Navigator
view,
in the controller’s
Devices
subtree,
select the
vcsel
device.
3. If the device is not present then create, configure and activate it as described in

4. In the
