Procedure
1. Download the separate
uEye Cockpit
software from
Imaging Development
Systems GmbH
at https://en.ids-imaging.com/ids-software-suite.html .
The software is required for viewing the images delivered by the 2 adjustment
cameras and the optional through-the-lens vision camera later on.
2. Login as administrator and install the
uEye Cockpit
software on the PC to which
the cameras are connected.
3. Check, if the settings for the cooling water are correct, see also section 13.5 on
page 86 .

NOTICE
Pressure surge
could cause damage to
scan head’s
cooling water circuit.
Secondary damage to electronics and optics by cooling water is possible.
•
Carefully open the cooling water inlet.
5. De-aerate the cooling water system.
6. Check if the settings for the purge gas are correct, see chapter
13.6 on page 86 .
7. Turn the purge gas on.
8. Switch on all peripheral devices that are connected to the ASC system controller
and wait until they are ready.
9. Switch on the ASC system controller.
10. Proceed with section
6.4 on page 30 .
6.4 Checking the video capture devices
There may be up to 3 cameras built into the scan head. They are used as alignment
cameras 1 and 2 and through-the-lens vision camera. The latter camera is an option.
