6 Commissioning
6.1 Audience and qualification
Commissioning the scan head is only allowed for personnel with electro-technical or
mechatronic profession or personnel trained in handling highly sensitive electronic and
optical equipment.
6.2 Safety precautions
•
Restrict the working area for personnel not involved in commissioning the scan
head.
•
Shield the area to prevent direct or scattered laser radiation from escaping.
•
Any personnel present within the restricted area have to wear protective glasses
appropriate to the laser in use.
6.3 Begin commissioning
