Ensure that both “PULLEY MECHANISMS” are on
the outside of both locking notches as shown.

Using the “TRACTION ROPE”, tie a “Traction Knot” through the metal loop
hanger at the top of the “WEIGHT BAG”. Once the knot is tied, pull on both the
“TRACTION ROPE” and “WEIGHT BAG” to tighten the knot. Check the knot to
make sure it is secure. (Refer to steps A-D under “HOW TO TIE A TRACTION
KNOT”). Allow approximately 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters) at the end. This
extra length of rope will allow you to adjust the knot if needed.
NOTE: The more weight that is put on the rope, the tighter the knot will get.

At the top of the “WEIGHT BAG”, open the red drainage cap and fill the “WEIGHT
BAG” with the prescribed amount of water. Once filled, tightly close and seal the
red drainage cap.

Thread the free end of the “TRACTION ROPE” through both “PULLEY MECHANISMS”
with the “WEIGHT BAG” at the closest point to the door.

Using the “TRACTION ROPE” and “S-HOOK”, tie another “Traction Knot” through
the closed end of the “S-HOOK”. Once the knot is tied, pull on both the “TRACTION
ROPE” and “S-HOOK” to tighten the knot. Check the knot to make sure it is secure.
(Refer to steps A-D under “HOW TO TIE A TRACTION KNOT”). Allow approximately
2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters) at the end. This extra length of rope will allow
you to adjust the knot if needed.

NOTE: Before each use, ensure that all knots are tight, all hardware is secure, and
rope is not frayed. Ensure that the rope is in the pulley wheel grooves and moves
freely so that the rope does not come off-track and bind between the pulley
wheels and casing.
