Cleaning and Special Maintenance

Filter Assembly

For the best performance and results, the filter assembly must

be keep clean.

The filter removes food particles  from the wash water, allowing

the water to be recirculated during the cycle. For this reason, it is

a good idea to remove any food particles trapped in the filter

after each wash cycle by rinsing the semi-circular filter and cup

("A") under running water. To remove the filter assembly, pull

the handle in an upward direction. The entire filter assembly (made

up of the semicircular filter "A" and the fine filter "B") should be

cleaned at least once a month use a soft brush. To reassemble,

inset the entire assembly into the dishwasher, locate it correctly

in its seat and pressing downward.

The dishwasher must not be used without the filters. Improper

replacement of the filters may reduce the performance of the

appliance.

Cleaning the Spray Arms

Food particles may become encrusted on the spray arms and block

the hole (see "Close up view [interior]" on page 3, letters C-E ).

Check the spray arms periodically and clean them when needed.

If the dishwasher does not function or does not function correctly,

check the following before calling for assistance.

The Dishwasher Does Not Start

- Is the plug pushed into the socket correctly?

- Is the power on in the house?

- Is the door closed properly?

- Is the Power switch "ON"?

- Is the water supply turned on?

The Dishwasher Does Not Fill with Water

Have you checked whether:

- the water is turned on and the hose is connected properly;

- the water supply to the houses on and has sufficient pressure;

- the water supply hose is crimped or bent;

- the filter for the water supply hose is clogged.

The Dishes Are Not Clean

- Is the drain hose kinked or bent?

- Has the detergent been dispensed?

- Are the spray arm holes blocked?

- Are the spray arms rotating?

The Dishwasher Does Not Drain

- Is the drain hose kinked or bent?

Lime Deposits or a White Film Form on the Dishes

- Is the rinse aid dosage is correct?

If, despite all these checks, the dishwasher still does not function

and/or the problem persists, contact your nearest authorised ser-

vice centre and provide them with the following information:

- The nature of the problem;

- The model number (Mod...) and the serial number (S/N...),

  which are located on the side of the inner part of the door.
