Apply a small amount of PTFE thread sealant to the NPT threads of the
fuel filter adapter
(red 90° adapter) and insert into the
IN
side of the red fuel solenoid. Use a bench vise to tighten the fitting at least 1-1/2 turns after finger tight,

for alignment.

Apply a small amount of PTFE thread sealant to the NPT threads of the
red fuel adapter
and insert into the
OUT
side of the fuel
solenoid. Use a bench vise to tighten the fitting at least 1-1/2 turns after finger tight, see
Figure 5
.
5.
Attach the solenoids to the bracket as shown in
Figure 6
.

Loosen the 8mm valve cover bolt and 8mm intake manifold bolt and install the solenoid bracket in the location shown in Figure 7.
