Power Sweep Backboard Extension Installa-
tion
The Power Sweep Backboard Extension is intended to keep
the grain from moving over the backboard.
Use the following instructions to install the Power Sweep
Backboard Extension.

(1) 3/8” Pneumatic or Battery
Powered Impact Wrench
(1) 5/16" Hex Bit
(1) Tape Measure
DANGER
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts
to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.
1. Locate the hanger bearing(s) on the Power Sweep Back -
board. (See Fig. # 3-31)
NOTE
Power Sweep sizes 24’ 27’ 30’ 33’ & 36’ have only (Qty. 1)
hanger bearing. Power Sweep sizes 42’ 48’ 54’ & 60’ have
(Qty. 2) hanger bearings.
