Checking the Installation Materials
The Park Air part number for the T6MC controller is BT6MC and the Park Air part number for the T6MC
rack mount controller is 70-T6MCRACK. The items listed in
Table 4-2 are included under these part
numbers. Check that all items have been received.
Siting the Controller
Site the controller away from sources of heat and in a position that allows access to the rear panel
connectors and the Power On/Standby switch.
Setting the Line Level Link
For -13 dBm operation of the audio/PTT lines, link LK5 (see Fig 7-6 and Fig 7-7 ) should be fitted. For
0 dBm line level LK5 on the main PCB should be removed. To gain access to the controller’s main PCB
refer to
Fig 7-3 , remove the four screws shown and withdraw the unit from its case. To gain access to
the rack mount controller’s main PCB refer to Fig 7-5 , remove the three screws shown and remove the
cover.
