• To add an extension, begin by removing both the upper and lower
plugs from the side(s) of the gate frame. You may need to use a
flathead screwdriver to remove the plugs (Figure 2A).
• Attach both the upper and lower adapters to the extension pole.
• Install the fully assembled extension by inserting the upper and lower
extension adapters into the gate in the holes where you removed the
plugs (Figure 2B).
• Reinsert plug(s), then insert the bolts into the holes on the outside of
the extension (Figure 2C).

IMPORTANT: When installing multiple extensions, place as equally as possible
on either side of gate frame. The 1-Bar Extension must be inserted into gate
frame before adding an additional extension.
