PIR Solar Wall Light

Assembly
For maximum efficiency:
• In order to prevent the light from being activated inadvertently it should be placed
in a location in which it will not be affected by heat sources such as barbecues or
air conditioning units.
• The PIR detector might also be sensitive to passing traffic, ventilation systems or
sources of electromagnetic interference such as transformers.
• Do not place the wall light so that its PIR detector is aimed towards any reflective
surfaces such as large glass surfaces, pools or smooth white walls. These surfaces
can reflect movement which will give false readings to the PIR detector and cause
it to turn on the light inadvertently.
• The PIR detector works best for detecting movement passing across it.
Movements directly towards or away from the PIR detector are harder to detect.
• The PIR detector has a detection range of 5–8 m in front of it within about a 90º angle.
1. Use the wall bracket’s mounting holes to mark
the wall mounting location.
2. Mount the wall bracket using the supplied screws
and wall plugs (pre-drill holes if necessary).
3. Screw in the screw mount to the bottom of
the lamp base.
4. Then screw the lamp onto the wall mount.
