Passport 7400 Hardware Installation, Maintenance, and Upgrade 5.2S1
Unpacking a 5-slot Passport switch
Unpack a 5-slot Passport switch close to the installation site.
Procedure steps
1
Set the box on floor with top end down.

Cut tape sealing the bottom flaps.
3
Fold back the bottom flaps against the outside sides of the box.
4
Turn the box right side up as you hold the bottom flaps out.

Lift the box up and off of the switch.
6
Remove the box that contains the power supply.
7
Remove the packing material.

Compare the contents of your shipment with the table “Equipment
checklist for unpacking a 5-slot Passport switch” (page 417)and the figure
“Taking inventory after unpacking a 5-slot Passport switch” (page 419) to
ensure you have all the hardware components you require.
