Connecting to the ATM E1 Interface

To connect to the ATM E1 interface on an installed ATM T1/E1 PMC module: 

1.

Route the cable through the cable loom slot corresponding to PCI slot 1.

For instructions, see 

“Using the Cable Looms to Manage Cables

” on 

page 4-17

.

2.

Insert the RJ-48C cable connector into the ATM T1/E1 interface 
(

Figure 4-2

).

3.

Connect the other end of the RJ-48C cable to the coaxial-to-twisted pair 
cable adapter (Balun)
