Using an ohmmeter, test the connectivity through the cable one pin after
the other. Verify the readings are acceptable for the type of CPE terminal.
Record which connections fail.

Fix any failed connections and repeat the connectivity test.
Procedure job aid
The position of pin numbers on the Pn D-sub connectors follows the standard
D-sub configuration. The pinouts for each external alarm connector are listed
in these tables:

Note: BIP connectors P5 and P6 are 110-pin and 55-pin connectors
inside the alarm module. These connectors are not used for cabling by a
customer.
