Connecting the I2022- Manual-install
1. Assemble
the
i
2022
2. Verify the PS1/PS2 switch located on the Interface Module is in the PS2 position. See page 6 for further
information on setting the PS1/PS2 switch.
3. Verify the Terminating Resistor (TR) switch is set correctly. See page 8 for further information on setting the TR switch.
4. Connect one end of the eight-pin mounting cord to the ISDN Line-In jack on the bottom of the Teleset. Connect
the other end of the cord to the S/T jack on your NT1 or ISDN telephone wall jack.
5. Remove the protective film on the display.
6. Label and install the designation card

Manually Entering the SPID
The

2022 supports up to two SPIDs. The two SPIDs are designated
SPID 1 and SPID 2. Both SPIDs can be configured to meet a variety of applications. See Table 4.

To change either or both SPIDS:

2. Select the SPID you wish to change.
3. Press
Change
if you want to edit the SPID. Pressing Change will not erase the displayed SPID until the new SPID is
entered from the keypad. Press
Clear
if you want to erase the existing SPID.
NOTE: Make sure the logo plate is installed
NOTE: Your Teleset has a factory default setting of “AUTO” which adjusts to the switch type. An incorrect switch
type results in a warning message from the Teleset. The correct switch type, as detected by the Teleset, is
displayed as a prompt to change your switch selection.
