SNTP dialog box fields
Field
Description
PrimaryServer
Address
The IP address of the primary SNTP server.
SecondaryServer
Address
The IP address of the secondary SNTP server.
State
Control whether the device uses SNTP to
synchronize the device clock to the Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC). If the value is disabled,
the device does not synchronize its clock using
SNTP.
If the value is unicast, the device synchronizes
shortly after boot time when network access
becomes available, and periodically thereafter.
SynchInterval
Control the frequency, in hours, with which the
device attempts to synchronize with the NTP
servers.
