Banner tab
The
Banner
tab allows you to specify banner display in TELNET. You can
specify either the default banner or a custom banner.
To open the
Banner
tab:

Select the chassis.

From the main menu, choose
Edit > Chassis
.
The
Chassis
dialog box opens
with the
System
tab
displayed.

Banner
tab.

Fan tab fields
Field
Description
Desc
The fan type.
OperStat
The operational state of the fan. Values include:
•
other: Some other state.
•
notAvail: This state is not available.
•
removed: Fan was removed.
•
disabled: Fan is disabled.
•
normal: Fan is operating in normal operation.
•
resetInProg: A reset of the fan is in progress.
•
testing: Fan is doing a self test.
•
warning: Fan is operating at a warning level.
•
nonFatalErr: Fan is operating at error level.
•
fatalErr: An error stopped the fan operation
•
notConfig: Fan needs to be configured. The allowable values are
determined by the component type.
