7.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
No Sound
Press MENU button and check sound icon on the screen
Check Rec Sound is ON in the Video Menu
Can’t access menu’s
Stop the recording first, see Section 3.3.
GPS wont lock on
Make sure GPS has a view of the sky.
Check GPS connection is pushed in fully.
Lots of EVE_XXXX saved
Check G-Sensitivity setting and change to “HIGH”. Hard accelerating or
braking can cause an event. The more powerful the bike, the higher the risk
of false triggering, so the setting should be adjusted accordingly.
Jerky AVI file playback
Use class 10 DVR suitable SD card. (Available from Nortek Bike Bro website)
or Sound / GPS out of sync
Memory Full
Too many event files on the SD card. Reduce the G Shock sensitivity or switch
it off. Too many KEY_ events from pressing the manual capture button.
Erase the SD card on a PC, or Format it from the menu system.
