DOOR MAINTENANCE
Before heating the stove for the first time, it is necessary to remove all the labels and wash the door with soapy water
(soft soap).
Because, the least traces on the door will remain forever when heating your stove
.
Clean your stove regularly by removing the ashes. Then, deposit ashes in a steel container provided with a tight lid. This
container should not have any other type of waste in it.
The door and the gasket must always be clean and in good condition. Perhaps for an intensive use, it will be necessary to
replace the door’s joint if it lost its elasticity. Check the door’s sealing periodically; a damaged or used joint must be
replaced immediately. Contact the nearest store for spare parts.
Note that solid fuel stoves must be frequently cleaned because an accumulation of soot, creosote and ashes can be
formed. Directions must be given concerning the measures to be taken if there is a chimney fire due to an accumulation
of soot or creosote.
