Safety instructions
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not touch hot surfaces or hot water/liquids. Burns can
occur from touching hot liquids/water/surfaces.
• To prevent fire, electric shock and injury, do not place cord,
plug, or base in water or other liquid.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove
bottom cover from base. Repair should be done by authorized
service personnel only.
• Supervision is required when the appliance is used by or
near children.
• To prevent accidental tipping, the kettle must be operated on
a flat surface away from any edges.
• To protect against electric shock, always unplug the device
from mains outlet when not in use, and before cleaning. Before
cleaning, allow the device to cool down.
• Do not operate the device dry.
• Do not use for other uses than heating water. Other foods or
liquids will contaminate the interior and void the warranty.
• To disconnect the device, remove power plug from outlet. Do
not yank on cord as it may damage cord and eventually cause
electric shock.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Repair should be done by authorized service
personnel only.
• The use of an accessory attachment not approved by the
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or
touch hot surfaces.
• Do not fill the kettle while it is seated on the power base. Be
sure to unplug it before it boils dry. Never operate the kettle
dry.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
microwave or heated oven.
• To avoid possible steam damage, turn spout away from walls
or cabinets during use; use protective pad under kettle to
prevent damage to surfaces.
• To avoid burns and risk of personal injury, use extreme
caution when carrying kettle containing hot water.
• Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable
fumes.
• Do not use for other than intended use. This appliance is
intended for household use only, not for commercial or
industrial use. Use for anything other than intended will void
the warranty.
• When pouring water, use caution to avoid getting splashes of
hot water on hands or other body parts. Pour slowly to avoid
splashes of hot water.
• Do not overfill or under fill with water, keep water level
between minimum and maximum marks.
• Do not open the lid during boiling process.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Usage
Before first use, fill the kettle to maximum level with water, and
boil the water.
Pour the water out, and repeat two times more, or as needed.
This can be needed to clean any dust left from production
environment.
• Put the power base on a flat surface.
• Open the lid and pour water into the kettle. Do not overfill.
There is a mark for maximum level.
• Close the lid and put the kettle on the power base.
