Automatic-off function
The appliance will switch off heating automatically when it has
been switched on for 40 minutes and switch to standby mode.
If a preset time is set, it will turn it-self on at the preset time.
(And off again after 40 minutes).
First use
Boil with fresh water (without coffee). Once all the water has
passed through, switch off the appliance and let it cool down
during 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water up
to 3 times or as needed.
Usage
• Plug the coffee maker to mains power outlet.
• Fill the water tank with the required quantity of water. Use
fresh, cold water only. Ensure that the water level is not lower
than the minimum mark and not higher than the mark indicating
max.
• Amount of cups can be read on the water tank.
• Use either the included permanent filter or filter size "1 X 4"
and use desired quantity of ground coffee.
• Switch on the appliance (Press On/ Off button twice). Wait
until the brewing process is finished and the funnel has run
empty.
• For large cups, use 5-6 g of ground coffee per cup.
• When you have taken the coffee you need, turn off the
appliance. (Press On / Off button once or disconnect from
mains)
• Allow the appliance to cool down for 5 minutes before using it
again.
Cancel brewing
• To cancel brewing, press On / Off button once.
Turning off completely
• To turn off the appliance completely, disconnect it from the
mains.
It is recommended that you turn off the appliance before going
on vacation or similar.
While the appliance is connected to mains it will remain in
stand-by mode.
In stand-by mode you can set the current time and set a preset
timer.
The preset time can only be set after current time has been
set.
Setting current time
• Press Set 2 times to set current time.
• Use H and Min to set current hours and minutes.
• Press the On / Off button to save settings.
After setting current time you can set a preset timer.
Preset timer
• Press Set 1 time to set a preset timer.
• Use H and Min to set hours and minutes.
• Press Set to save settings.
The appliance will now start automatically when the current
time setting matches preset time.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance should be disconnected from
main power outlet, and it should be left to cool down to normal
room temperature.
Do not soak the appliance in water.
Do not use corrosive or polishing detergent.
• Clean the appliance with a wet cloth.
• Clean the coffee pot, filter and funnel in hot water and with
detergent if required.
