1. Remove refrigerator from enclosure; refer to Service Manual for details.
2. Remove about two (2) inches of paper backing from the end of
K1.4
to
expose adhesive.
3. Press

onto the small system tube at

4. Secure with

(1x).
5. Remove paper backing and wrap
K1.4
around the small system tube
between

and
B
.
6. Secure
K1.4
to the small system tube with
K4
(1x) at
B
and at both
bends of the small system tube.
7. With the blue side of

facing away from you, put

(2x) through
K1.3
and then through
K3
(2x).
8. The blue side of

should be facing toward the refrigerator.
9. Attach this assembly to rear of refrigerator using

Connect Wiring
Determine the content of the auxiliary wiring circuit of the refrigerator:
• If the refrigerator has neither a fan or an ice maker, go to “Cold Weather
Heater Only.” Refer to Fig. 3.
• If the refrigerator has only a fan, go “Cold Weather Heater and Fan.”
Refer to Fig. 4.
• If the refrigerator has only an ice maker, go to “Cold Weather Heater and
Ice Maker.” Refer to Fig. 5.
• If the refrigerator has both a fan and an icemaker, go to “Cold Weather
Heater, Fan, and Ice Maker.” Refer to Fig. 6.
