Intel(R) Rapid Start Technology
Intel Rapid Start Technology is the new technology of Intel 7 series Chipset. This technology is able
to wake up the sleep system within 5-8 seconds and recover to the status before entering sleep
mode. This technology has following advantages:
1. High Safety----System will finally enter S4 sleep mode and the data is stored in hard disk,
therefore, even if the system is completely power down, the data is safe;
2. Quick Wakeup----Only need 5-8 seconds to wake up, which is twice faster than that of the
traditional sleep mode (20seconds);
3. Low Power----When the system is under sleep mode, the system power consumption is almost 0.
The conditions to realize the above technology:
1. Intel 7 series chipset
2. Motherboard ACPI is set to

3. The board is connected with SSD
4. Install Intel Rapid Start Technology Driver
5. Install Windows 7or above
