Suggested Lighting Placement to Maximize Digital Decorating S
When using Digital Decorating, consider the following suggestions:
—
Lights
at
the
HIGHEST
TOP TO BOTTOM lighting effects (house or large tree)
{
elevation should be plugged into outlet #1
(remembering 3 AMP maximum per outle))
with lights at the next level in outlet #2, then 43, and so on through outlet #6.
BOTTOM TO TOP lighting effects — Lights at the LOWEST elevation should be plugged
into outiet #1
with each progressive level being plugged into outlets #2, #3, etc.
SIDE-TO-SIDE lighting effects (lawn sculptures, fences) — Plug lights outlet #1,
#2, #3,
starting from left to right (or right to left).
If you need more lights to perform the same function, shows
13 and
17 have the following
outlets working together: #1-2, #3-4, #5-6. This allows you to have up to 6 amps performing
the same function. This feature is
referred to as 3 X 2 (see Light Show Glossary of Terms).
Digital Decorating offers such a wide variety of shows that it may be difficult to decide which
one
you
want to
use for your
display.
It
is
suggested
that
you
decorate
your
house with
lights in the locations that you would normally put them and then decide which tights you
want grouped together and the order that you
want them
to
sequence
in.
Lights that you want on the same outlet should be run through one extension cord to the
desired outlet.
Your goal is to have your items grouped on
different heavy duty
extension cords so you only have 6 Plugs to deal with. This Way, you can experiment
with the effects simply by inserting the plugs into different outlets until you achieve your
desired effect.
Note: Remember to always use heavy duty outdoor cords to connect your displays.
Synchronizing Multipie Digital Decorating Units
Simply hold down the TIME and SHOW buttons on
