Keyboard interface
The phone HW supports 42 keys for QWERTY keyboard, side keys (volume up/down slider, lock key, bi-
functional camera shutter for half and full key press detection, and power key) and home key on lid. The side
keys and home key are connected directly to RAPU GenIOs. The QWERTY keys are connected to a direct 36-
pin IO-expander which is used in matrix mode.
Slide sensor
Slide sensor is a Hall2 sensor which also uses magnets for state switching. In this device it is used to detect
the slide movement that reveals the Qwerty keyboard. The sensor is located on the Qwerty flex module and
the magnet is located in the tilt assembly. The Hall sensor output generates interrupt to RAPU (GENIO26).
