 • CHARGE THE BATTERY

Connect the charger to a wall socket.

Connect the lead from the charger to the 
socket on the bottom of your phone.

Charging

 appears briefly if the phone is 

switched on. If the battery is completely 
discharged, it may take a few moments 
before the charging indicator appears 
on the display or before any calls can 
be made.

You can use the phone while the charger is connected.

Charging time depends on the charger and the battery used. For example, charging a BL-5C 
battery with the ACP-12 travel charger takes about 1.5 hours while the phone is in the 
standby mode.

 • SWITCH THE PHONE ON AND OFF

To switch on the phone, select and hold the 

Power

key.

If the phone prompts you for a PIN code or a security code,

OK
