left eyepieces individually for each eye. When looking through, the picture is
set individually for the respective eye at the corresponding eyepiece. Make
adjustments to the eyepieces until you notice an uniform, sharp and circular
image.
Attention:
The adjustment for right and left should be done by viewing the
same object at about 50 m distance, in order to avoid any misadjustment.
Distance adjustment
If the two eyepieces are set to your acuteness of vision, no readjustment is
necessary for observing at different distances. Only for the observation of
objects which are close to the near point of the binoculars, a re-adjustment
of the eyepieces may be necessary.
Fastening the carrying strap
The carrying strap holders (5) are attached near the two eyepieces. The
strap must be threaded through these two eyelets. After the carrying strap
has been fastened on both sides, the desired length can now be adjusted.
Eyepiece protective cap
The binoculars are equipped with a lens cover (6) to be protected from dust,
rain and sand. Just put the cover on the oculars. Further, it is possible to
fasten the cover to the sling which is attached to the sling loops.
During operation of the binoculars, this may cause the eyepiece cover to
hang down loosely and does not affect the view.
Fastening the objective lens protective cap
To attach the objective lens protective cap (7) to the binoculars, the loop
on the holder for the objective lens protective cap (8) must be placed over
the cover of the tripod thread and inserted. The loop must be completely
inserted behind the cover.
Mounting on the tripod
The device can be mounted on a standard tripod, by means of the existing
connection thread ¼“. For this purpose, the cover (6) located on the under-
side must be removed.
Attention:
The cap has no securing loop and can therefore be easily lost due
to the small size. Therefore, pay attention to where you store it while using
the tripod thread.
