There are 2 sub-steps. here in Step 12.
At this assembly point, it is recommended to have 3 (three ) adults at hand, to facilitate
the assembly and putting into position the partially assembled Pergola panel.
With assistance from your adult partners, position 2 ( two ) pcs of Pillars approximately
6.5 (six point five)
feet apart, closest to your marked ideal location.
Pick up the pre-assembled Face 2 - Outer Joist, from Step 10, and place to the Insteps at the Top
of the 2 ( two ) Pillars.
For ease of assembly, place a box or an object to prop up the Pillar, as shown above.
12.1:
Position the Wooden Dowel in Angle Brace into the mortise of Pillar.

Position the Outer Joist to the Pillars using
Screws (

Allen Wrench (

as shown above.
There are a total of 4 Screws (

) and 8 Screws (

) to be affixed.
FULLY SECURE AND TIGHTEN ALL 12 ( twelve ) points, as shown in the picture.
Using the
Allen Wrench (

, secure and tighten all 2 ( two )
Screws (

into the
mounting positions on Pillar.
Repeat this step with other side to assembled FACE 4 - Pergola Panel.
