You can restore all or some parts (local, global) of the MF-2 to the factory defaults. (Initialize)

8.5 INITIALIZE (FACTORY SETUP)

All previously stored date will be lost!

SELECT POWER UP:

Switch the MF-2 off.

While switching the MF-2 on hold footswitch "0".

The DISPLAY shows:

Enter the required password with the footswitches 0..9, UP, DOWN.

To prevent unwanted restoring it is a must to enter a specified PASSWORD:
"42" for complete initializing (SETUP and EDIT values)
"53" for SETUP initializing (Global values)
"64" for EDIT initializing (Local values = PROGRAM 1..128)
