INSTALLATION OF COLLECTORS
The collectors should preferably be fitted horizontally. The possible scenarios for installation of the collectors are:
y
Flat roof of a shed, garage, technical area, etc.
y
Sloped roof no more than 35°, faced to the South / East
y
Pavement
y
Lawn
y
Open pergola
y
Parasol stand
During the fitting of the collectors, you have to take into consideration the following aspects:
y
Possible shading by nearby buildings, trees, etc.
y
The distance between the technical area (swimming pool) and the collector
y
Collector temperature sensor
y
Possible wind sensibility
y
Use ground liner if placed directly on the ground
Shading
The collectors must be positioned so that they catch direct sunlight throughout the day. If this proves to be problematic
due to circumstances, find an area with the most sunshine hours, preferably between 11.00 h and 16.00 h in general
shading has considerable negative influence on the systems performance.
Collector’s temperature sensor
The collector must be positioned so that the temperature sensor is faced to the South / East.
Sensibility to the wind
As the collectors are not sensitive to the wind, you can place these without further measures or restraints.
